  • Complete shaving of the genital area 24 hours before labiaplasty to minimise the risk of infection

  • Discontinuation of anticoagulant medication, e.g., Aspirin, Thomapyrin or ThromboAss, at least one week before and one week after the operation

Duration: Approximately 1–2 hours, usually performed as an outpatient procedure.

Anesthesia: Local anesthesia or twilight sedation; general anesthesia available upon request.

  • No soap in the intimate area when showering.

  • Avoid sexual activity and physical exercise for 4 – 6 weeks.

  • No sauna or tanning bed for 4 – 6 weeks.
