In general, PDO threads are very well tolerated and do not usually cause side effects. In rare cases, temporary skin reactions related to the injections may occur, such as:

  • A feeling of tension or pressure

  • Bruising (hematomas)

  • Itching

These effects are usually short-lived and resolve on their own.
